Spiritual- Long hot soak in Jacuzzi, talked about religion and politics with Cathy, ML and Dr. K
Occupational- practiced some new and old dishes for the gang
Physical
·         Cardo- walked around the lake with ML and Peggy- was unseasonably warm
·         Strength Training….not going to lie
Intellectual- read books and newpapers, watched a movie about Queen Elizabeth
Emotional- Broke bread with friends and family
Environmental- fed birds and buried compost.
Social- Nice lunch, FB and Twitter, spoke to Christopher
 
Nutritional
Breakfast- lemon and peach cleanse
 
Lunch Crazy Lunch!!!!!  
Smoked salmon with homemade pickled milkweed flowers and flatbread
Lobster bisque with heavy cream….
Steamed mussels with butternut, mint, evoo, white wine, lemon, whole wheat bread
Grilled octopus, Asian veggies, brown rice, roasted king mushrooms, lemon, evoo
Kick ass cheese board with pumpkin seed brittle, bitter chocolate and candied nuts, raisin nut bread
Mixed berries in red wine and verbena syrup
 
Drank mostly beet kvass but did have a little taste of wine…..
 
Dinner- air popped corn, evoo, garlic scape salt
 
Late snack- sliced raisin/nut bread and turkey breast with mustard…..

Today was all about Lunch. I invited Dr. K and a cooker/foodie friend Cathy Richardson to have a gourmet 4 hour lunch with mom and me at the lake house. I did get up and get a walk in with ML and our neighbor Peggy, but neglected my strength training again. Just got caught up in other things. Gotta stop making excuses and do it. I made us a super light peach and ginger frappe with turmeric to get the day going, but the other meal of  the day was outrageous… Lunch Crazy Lunch!!!!! Smoked salmon with homemade pickled milkweed flowers and flatbread, Lobster bisque with heavy cream…., Steamed mussels with butternut, mint, evoo, white wine, lemon, whole wheat bread, Grilled octopus, Asian veggies, brown rice, roasted king mushrooms, lemon, evoo,  Kick ass cheese board with pumpkin seed brittle, bitter chocolate and candied nuts, raisin nut bread, Mixed berries in red wine and verbena syrup. Lots of clean up after that, but it was so much fun. You have to do it every not and again. Drank mostly beet kvass but did have a little taste of wine…..It was nice to have a long meal with such great people. We talked about everything including religion and politics, so you know they must be good friends. Dinner- air popped corn, evoo, garlic scape salt. Late snack- sliced raisin/nut bread and turkey breast with mustard…..During the afternoon after everyone left I set up the bird feeder (should say squirrel feeders….)  and they started arriving! Purple and golden finches, blue jays of course, nut hatches, sparrows, chickadees and juncos were the first to arrive. Caught up with Christopher on the phone and did some social media. Finished the day watching “The Crown” on Netflix.
